    Environment:

    AVR: Denon AVC-X3800h (HDMI-CEC disabled)
    Z9X Pro: HDMI-CEC disabled.

    How to reproduce:
    1. Turn off TV-box;
    2. Select other input on AVR.
    3. Select Input with Ziddo on AVR.

    Expected behavior:
    Nothing should happen.

    Actual behavior:
    Zidoo starts to boot

This bug was also reported and discussed in this thread:
    http://forum.zidoo.tv/index.php?threads/z9x-pro-keeps-turning-on-by-itself.97049/

Affects many if not all Zidoo devices from current and last generation. The problem has existed for some time without being resolved.

As a workaround a hdmi adapter w/o pin13 can be used as mentioned in the thread above. This adapter seems to affect smoothness of Zidoo UI. Another weird issue, see http://forum.zidoo.tv/index.php?threads/much-snappier-z9x-pro-with-cec-less-adapter.97294/

    Regards

It's unsolved old issue. It seems the reason comes from HDMI cable and TV more than Zidoo. Let's wait until they find a solution.

My Z9X is mishandling HDMI-CEC from the beginning.

My Zidoo also turns on my TV when I start the player when the TV is off.
But the only thing I have enabled in the CEC options is the AVR volume control.

Another very strange thing is that every time I pair my Bluetooth remote, Zidoo switches to HDMI port 4 on my TV.
The Zidoo is connected to my AVR and my AVR is connected to HDMI port 3 on my TV.
    Really strange

Did you check your tv CEC function?
Anyway it maybe done by HDMI cable. Then I suggest you to add a hdmi cec blocker.
