Since I don't really use CEC with my Z9X PRO and have had some random power ons, I decided to try CEC Less adapter. I'm using the programming buttons on the Zidoo remote instead of CEC. Everything works fine, and one unexpected side effect is that the box is so much more snappy in navigation etc. Are there any reason why this would be?
Hi, I tried also this CEC less adapter with a Zidoo Z20 Pro device and I can confirm your observation. For me it seems like animations of Zidoo GUI are turned off, when using a CEC less adapter. It don't know the reason for this behaviour. Maybe it is one further bug of Zidoo devices. Regards,

No. Maybe because CEC option in the settings menu does not work as it should and requires the HDMI adapter instead as a workaround.
