you upsample before it goes to the solo? Or is that an solo option? (I keep original sample frequencies all time) may be UI, indeed see picture is of solo specs (edit: attached spec again)
DMP makes automatic upsample: look under settings > audio > fixedSamplingRateOutput (you can choose various upsampling) but on display only choose one is shown
yeah understand what you mean now, I guess. Instead of integer factor you can choose fixed rates only (or original). As I recall (on holiday now). I only use the original sampling frequency for exact that reason. I think it is the best option too, if the rest of your equipment can handle everything too.
Hi! I have a feature request regarding the local library/media. Today, if you select "Update" on a library it looks like it scan through all the albums/tracks again and it takes a really long time when you have big libraries. I would like something like the media servers Emby & Plex have a "Real time monitoring" / "Your library will be updated automatically when changes to library folders are detected." - so it adds and/or remove items detected on filesystem change in the library instead of scanning it all. I understand that this is probably a big change to make, but I wanted to put it out there
I'd really like if third party apps could have access to local storage. Not the full file system per se, but definitely the extra installed ssd. The native music app has many shortcoming and lacks features of apps that have years of development behind them. Pretty please!
Hi all, using remote it's possible to shutoff display (eye key) usually i use this way when external source is in usage (in my case TV through OpticalIn source). Do someone know how to change volume returning immediately display off (or continue to maintain display off to not disturb) without press again eye key? in the case this could be a good easy viable change to implement.
An automatic uppsampling option that matches for highest even uppsampling: 44,1 and 88,2 to 176,4khz 48 and 96 to 192khz As i was told that yields best sound. Now i have to do it manually if i want that.
Perhaps also an option for a scrolling line at the bottom that scrolls every 5 or 10 seconds so it doesn't distract too much from the VU screen? Love the plain VU screen, and don't want to 'blemish' it, but I also really like to see the artist/title, so adding an option for the people who want to see it as well would be great.
Hello from France Great this DMP-A6 What I would like: - A Line input - One HDMI eArc input - An amplified headphone output And especially: - Display by folders (ssd) in the media library.
In the controls: I suggest swapping the current short press options with MUTE on/off, Power on and add Power off/screen off etc to the long press.
Dear Eversolo, I'm not using wifi or BT, is it possible to switch them of through an update ? regards Mijkie
Can't we get bigger tiles with more information (artist, year) in the Tidal list view when exploring?
Mine is on order so I don't know if this is possible, but can you 'disable' an input? i.e. so that when you cycle through inputs you don't see any that you don't have anything attached to and aren't using? That would be a nice feature - as well as being able to rename the inputs like many TV's let you do (e.g. instead of 'Coaxial In' you could see 'CD Player' instead)
One thing I’d find really handy would be a setting to turn off the ring light after X minute s in standby/screensaver mode. I don’t want to power it off or have it dark all the time, but as it is located in my bedroom it would be great to have this option. Cheers, Chris W.
Personally, I think those that struggle with screens (elderly, poor eyesight, Parkinson’s Disease etc.) would appreciate Alexa enabling similar to Bluesound. Even as able bodied, I found it useful and miss the convenience.
I have done that already but I’d prefer for there to be an option for it to turn itself off after a while as it is still quite bright in a darkened room. Basically it would be great to have a brightness setting for when I’m using it and when I’m not without having to power the unit off. Cheers, Chris W.
