Hello everyone, We just put a X9S language localization project on the Google Docs. Link here:https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet...F-aa0HCcECknl2p876_lkkEA9c/edit#gid=190056043 All the strings of all the APPs from X9S have been there. APPs are involed with Launcher,Filemanager,APK installer,Weather,Videoplayer,Theater,HDMI in, and what not. And now we sincerely ask for your help to improve the translations. We'll not forget the contributors who dedicate time, skill, love and attention in the project. You participation always make the X9S the greater Android Box. PS:Note that please ensure your translations and the source words are of equal length as possible as you can.
Italian done, but I've some doubt, also on original english text strings. I'll check it when I'll see translations "in action" !!!
Both are formal correct translations if spelled correctly: Anular y Cancelar in this case it should be Cancelar (ambos no usan LL que es otra letra en castellano) I see was Italian. Should have looked a bit further than my nose is long (good old Dutch saying).
Depends, if the original english word is Erase, the best traslation is Cancella, instead if original is Cancel, the best is Annulla, but depends on the context. Sometimes Elimina is also a good translation... Keep in mind that original developers are chinese speaking, and in some case in Zidoo apps I've seen doubtful english words (to be clear is absolutely not a reprimand!). Also Please is translated as "Prego" or "Si prega" (depends on context), but sometimes is implicit and then in most app translations skipped at all. Indeed I've missed some tabs, sorry, I'll do later... Any italian help (and correction, is not my job ) is always welcome!
Sorry, the job is a little hard, there is a lot of string to traslate ('coz a lot of tabs... ) Someone other (thanks!) is also helping. I continue to have doubts on some strings real meanings. freeroc, check from time to time... I'll ask you better explain on dubious words.
here i am glad to help and take part to this project, i love this box! i have posted on another forum the link to the spreadsheet to join the cause
@PacoRabanne : bro, probably it would be better to use always third or 1st person. i.e.: Please input password you translated Prego inserire la password Set initial password you translated Assegna la password iniziale We could say something like Prego inserire la password and Assegnare password iniziale I didn't modify your work so let me know what you think about.
