Hello, When I use the Tidal application directly on the Eversolo DMP-A6, or even on my Iphone or my PC, a Hi-Res track is indicated MAX "24Bit- 96KHZ Flac" on the Eversolo and on the application on my Iphone, No problem there, but if I use "Tidal Connect" with the same track (from PC or Iphone) to send it to the Eversolo, the track switches to MQA-MAX on the Iphone or PC and on the Eversolo it says MQA 24Bit 48 KHz on title and just below MQA 96 Khz ! ! Do you know why? Is it a limitation of the Eversolo or Titdal?
Since it changes aon the Evesolo, the PC and the pHone, I would not treat the issue as Eversolo-only. Rather some weird behavior of the -connect app.
Thanks for the feedback, yes it's possible indeed that this is a strange behavior of Tidal's "Connect" but to be confirmed with other user experiences because curious that no one who uses Tidal has noticed this before.
For information, when i use Tidal Connect to Shield TV, the signal is good (Flac), so i think this issue it's when I use Tidal Connect to Eversolo, i don't know why , Eversolo switches the signal to MQA ... Does anyone else have this problem?
It requires upgrading TIDAL connect to TIDAL MAX connect, and we are currently working on this. It usually takes several months from development completion to certification
Thank you for your reply, I thought there was something wrong , do you think this update should take place in the first quarter of 2023 or much later?
a) first quarter of 2023 is already gone a long ago... ;-) b) he has already said that it may take several months... I'd expect it not before the end of Q1/2024
