Hello. I recently purchased a DMP-A6 streamer. I have added my network Music folder but the Eversolo says it contains zero tracks. I'm hoping someone here can help me, I am out of ideas.

Some details. My computer that holds my music files is a Windows 10 machine. My 9,000 or so music files (songs) are in a folder with subfolders for artists and then subsubfolders for albums. The songs are mostly m4A format with some others like mp3 mixed in. My music folder is set for network sharing for all users. Music streaming is enabled in Windows 10. My Music folder is visible under the "Music Library" in Windows 10. Both my Windows computer and my Eversolo are connected to the same network.

I have used other streamers and currently have a WIIM amp. The WIIM is able to see my network Music folder and the subfolders and I am able to see and play music.

When I set up the Eversolo, I chose the "Music" icon on the home screen. I then selected "Add Library". I then selected "SMB" and "depth scan". The Eversolo finds my Windows 10 network streaming server and I select it. It then finds my "Music" folder and I select that. The folder instantly appears under "Library" but it says "0 tracks" and "Scanned". Underneath it shows the correct IP address/path.

Any ideas on why it shows zero tracks when the folder contains thousands of songs?

    Thanks very much in advance.

Are your files tagged with metadata, such as Artist / Album / track title, etc. etc.?

Thanks much for the suggestion. I looked at all of the ID Tags, and indeed a few files had no metadata, and some others were missing some data such as "Artist", Album Artist" and "Track Number". There were also a couple of corrupted files. I fixed the issues and the Eversolo was able to scan my library. So, its fixed. Thanks again.

    You're welcome.
Now that I read... most probably the corrupted files were responsible... had not they been there, most probably you would have ended up with just few files missing (those with missing metadata).
    Glad you had it working.
