Firstly, I have updated Home Theatre but I don't think that is the issue. I have been connecting the Zidoo, which sits several rooms away from the router, by high speed wi-fi repeaters (which can handle 4k content from NAS boxes). All of a sudden I can no longer connect (although they [there are 2 different ones various distances away] are seen with their relative strengths) - I can connect to a wi-fi or ethernet connection coming via power line plugs (but they are too slow for 4K). Connected to the same smart tv I also have a firestick - both of these connect to the high speed wi-fi. Given the tv has an internal aerial, and the firestick as well, I don't think it can be a reception problem. Therefore, any suggestions? Maybe related, but when starting Home Theatre it will not have access to remote SMB sources (saying 'expired'), and will have forgotten the Recently Added titles, but if I come out and go into Media Centre and search the SMBs they will all be there, and then when I reload Home Theatre everything will be refreshed.
Hello drmih. Could you please provide more detailed info, like player model, FW version, and the error report? A photo or video would help a lot. Thanks.
Thanks. Regarding the wi-fi connectivity, I change the channel on the router and then it did reconnect. I'm not sure if it was something which got corrupt, or just that the Zidoo being more sensitive than the other devices, but it's working at the moment.
