Hi. I am coming from Zappiti which had a function to launch videos automatically before your main film started. For example you would store a DTS or Imax demo and it would search and launch it as sort of a movie preview. Does anyone know if Zidoo can do this? Thanks
Only way I can think of is to rename the preview demo to “movie-trailer. Mkv or mp4 etc. set in preferences play local trailers. Where “movie” is the file name of the main movie.
Yeh but will that play the trailer/Pre-roll video before the main movie automatically? Or do I have to start the trailer automatically? And then start the movie? Anyway this should be a peace of cake for the dev team to implement
The trailer starts playing automatically but you have to start the movie. I don’t think the developers are much interested in new features. So don’t hold your breath. I’m just grateful my UHD3000 performs the way I need.
Hello there. There is a toggle in "Preference" to start a movie preview automatically (network required), which may help you.

Hi XaX! Thanks for your explanation. This feature has been forwarded to the development team. So far, Zidoo can play the trailer within 5 seconds after entering the poster detail page. Also, you can click on the trailer option to directly play the trailer. In this option, swiping left and right can switch the trailers.
Yeh that’s cool! Problem is that it is not a random local trailer or a chosen one it is the trailer of the movie on your poster wall and it is not fully automatic when you have started the movie.. Before Zidoo I had this. 1. When pressing play 2. A new teaser trailer of an upcoming movie starts /or a local random trailer from a folder I have chosen. 3. My lights dim to around 25% when the trailer plays 4. The movie I have chosen starts to play direct, no landning on the poster wall between trailer and movie. 5. When the movie starts the lights dimmed down slowly from 25% to 0% This is a nice feeling of cinema experience I know Zidoo have nothing to do with the lighs, I have other stuff to handle that..
