I am sure this has been discussed before but I cannot find the answer anywhere, I am using ZDMC for all my media playback, when I wish to switch off the TV I lose the sound, but I am feeding my Bose system by optical and the TV by HDMI, so why does this happen and can I do anything about it, I live in Slovakia and I stream UK radio through the Zidoo so I don't really want the TV on all the time.
I have got it set to pcm and the HDMI in audio is off but it does not matter if it is on or off, I still lose sound when the tv is switched off.
