But i think we have more chance of getting the new HDR10 +
Thats what you should be looking at and its as such free to manufactures .
And sort of on par with Dolby Vision but not in 12 bit .

 

Yes but so many uhd bluray disks have already now the second video file for the Dolby Vision and both My oled tv and sony soundbar are capable....I would be so interested in the box of the miracles ....if only it would exist

Yes i know all that, and I know they work hard and they do what they can.

Zidoo team should have offered a FW on the basis of the Fw 2.0.25 while the first zidoo X20 / PRO arrived at the customers, after receiving our X20 we would have updated our devices with the latest improvements

and the same thing for HT 2.0 V1.5.8, why it is not already available for download on the Zidoo forum, we have version 1.5.5 with the X20/PRO.

They should have been proactive, it is just my opinion,

For now i use my X10 and i go back to the X20 when we will have a new FW with all the improvements of the FW 2.0.25 and more...

And does it seem to be smoother navigation etc
For early firmware that it is on .
Liking the new os front ?

 

I did hear no streaming type [ usb ] box will get Dolby vision
Holy grail type boxes dont exist .
Or you have a few boxes to get what you want as some have i know
And forever dumping one to get the next new holy grail

The finish is correct.. if i compare with other boxes.

with Ht 2.0 I do not see a difference with my X10.

Yes it is beautiful, the wallpapers are nice and the transition effect too



But...I do not like the blue glow at the bottom of the tiles when we select them, it's too much for my taste or poorly integrated.

And I think that the media center does not have the right background, the media center is more a file explorer rather than a video player even if it can do it, it's just my opinion, i will see more a mixture of files ...rather than moviestrips

The tiles are not customizable and if i want to have ZDMC on main menu, how do i do ?

There is no change with the version for the Zidoo X8 / 9S / 10, it
has the same defaults

We will wait for a Zidoo Music 3.0...





DSD/DSF Multi CH becomes PCM 2.0
ISO SACD Multi CH becomes PCM 2.0

FLAC Multi CH files stays in multi ch (5.1)

FYI : the DSD Multi CH have a distorted sound with my equipment.

Can you check if the banding issues in hdmi auto mode (on UHDmmaterial) and if the improper sd/DVD aspect ratio are fixed?

 

About banding with 10Bit, their team is working on solving this problem, no news for the moment.

About dvd aspect ratio, i do not have a DVD movies to check, but other people will receive their X20, there will probably be some feedback about it.

From all the videos i have seen (to be honest, only from you and official Zidoo ) i cannot see some things:

1) Is there anywhere the classic Android settings menu? The one where you enter the gmail account etc.
2) I haven't seen the app screen. Is this re-designed as well? The apps pre-installed are the same as the existing Zidoo lineup? is ZDMC pre-installed?
3) I assume that still we have no HD Netflix, correct?
4) Still Android 6.0?
5) HT 2.0 is installed?

Yes , zidoo does not have drm widevine level 1

Yes 6.01, maybe fr Android 7 later...no news for now

Yes ht2.0 v 1.5.5, no news about v1.58
