I’m having a dumbfounding issue. I can find and connect to my SMB shares using ZDMC without issue, but the Zidoo file manager will not find my devices on a scan nor can I enter the info manually. The Zidoo does see some SMB shares with an accurate scan, unfortunately not the devices I’m looking for. Same with NFS. ZDMC sees and connects. Zidoo file manager will not. NAS: Unifi UNAS Pro x 2 Connection: Wired Credentials: Confirmed on Windows/MacOS and Ubuntu. Updated to 1.2.01_G with no resolve I have a week before I need to return this device if I can’t get the issues resolved with Zidoo. Thanks in advance.
I have the same problème with my internet box ans his SSD. I can see my PC but not my box with SMB protocole
I decided to return my Z3000. I created a OMV instance using remap plugin or something like that and that showed in the SMB browser allowing me to access my media, etc. But in the end, it should just work. All other OS’s on my network can properly see both NAS device without issue. Purchased an 8K dune device and it also can access everything without the middle man. Unfortunate as I really like the Zidoo UI. Also sent support an email with no response which for 700 usd I would expect more.
I agree with you that SMB service works faulty and need to be optimized. An issue I've claimed many times but unfortunately not much improvement done!!
If I use GoodSync or AlwaySync to update my files on the Z3000 PRO, Samba always reports a lot of missing files. Checking the reported files manually on the Z3000 PRO internal hard disk results in: Everything is on the HD just the SMB server response of the directory content is faulty.
It seems another section of SMB faulty service by Zidoo. Hopefully @Markswift2003 will report it to devs. It really needs to be sorted/fixed soonest possible.
I also have the same problem. I cannot access my PC via SMB, I could before. I can access EMBY and Plex on my Zidoo z9x 8k but not my HDD connected to my PC. I have tried everything. I now give up.
