    Hello,
I have just received my Zidoo X6 Pro and when I plug my Western Digital external hard drive WD Element (1To NTFS) my Zidoo restart after approximately 30secondes. My hard drive is detected because I can watch a movie or listen music but after 30-45s the device reboot.
I have not this issue with my Lexar usb flash drive (64Go NTFS).
Is anyone ever encountered this problem?

    Thank you in advance.
    Alex

No. At various times I've directly connected single 2.5 inch SATA laptop drives in USB enclosures to my Zidoo X6 - including a WD Elements 2TB drive. I never had a problem. I eventually purchased a 7 port Amazon Basics powered USB Hub, and something like that may solve your problem.

Is it USB powered or you have external power ? I have no problems with 2 TB external powered. The recommendation from Harlan is probably your best bet ( powered USB hub ), if its USB powered.

Also have you tried both USB ports ?

    Hello,
I noticed that the device restarts when there are files with this format .m2ts and .m2ts.idx
After removing these files my HDD works fine.
    Thank you for your help.
