Hi, I have a Zidoo X6 pro . Connected by cable to the network with a static IP . My Android device depends on the network via Wi-Fi . When I start the Remote app, can I not find the X6 . Can I enter the IP from the X6 in the app ? I have tried this with my mobile phone and wieht my tablet.
the mobile and the X6 must the same network segment. like this: the mobile:192.168.11.xxx the X6:192.168.11.xxx
hmm don´t run. My network: Zidoo : 192.168.2.214 Subnet: 255.255.252.0 Tablet: 192.168.2.200 Subnet: 255.255.252.0
Upnp in your router is active? Sometime this is need for some device to broadcast their services. I don't know for rc it is only a touth crossing my mind.
If all computer on network use same subnet mask this should be ok. This configuration 255.255.255.252 allow more computer on network. But if you do not have lot of computer there is no point of doing so since it use more ressources on network.

he himself - a lot of people do this - even 255.255.255.255 - and do not need it - and slow down with this the whole system ;(
255.255.252.0 mean find remote in 1022 host possibility instead of 254 possible host with 255.255.255.0
