ZDMC cannot play 5.1 DTS sound.

    With passthrough option,ZDMC cannot play DTS sound please help;

    My harswares are....

    Zidoo X8(fw.1.4.12)--->spdif--->HD SOUND RUSH 5.1 (support DTS)--->Analog 5.1 amp

    But AC3 or Dolby 5.1 sound is no problem at all.

    Please someone help me fix this,thanks.

    I don't know if you have the same problem
    but I cannot play DTS if I don't set (in settings) "HD downmix to 5.1 " (or something similar... now I'm not at home)

    after this, DTS works well (and obviously with 5.1 output )

    I have the same problem
    and I cannot play DTS even when I set the HD downmix to 5.1
    so I have to give up to set the spdif RAW
    If anyone knows how to fix that pls let me know,thanks

    I have no problem
    You have to set RAW settings in HDMI and SPDIF and also HD downmix to 5.1

    In this way the DTS audio are played in 5.1 on TV (HDMI) and on the AudioSystem (spdif)
