Hey, everybody. I'm, new here and right away I'm asking for help I finally upgraded my cinema and bought a new projector from Benq w4000i and to make things worse I also bought a new media player ZIDOO Z9X Pro. I replaced the HDMI cables with Fiber Optic and immediately the first problems started. The amplifier I use is a Denon X2800H through which I have connected the z9x and then from the amplifier to the projector via HDMI fiber optic cable for 1300,- CZK (53 EUR) 10m. If I play a movie through ZDMC online (stream cinema plugin) and pause the movie, when I play it again the sound drops out and if I fast forward the movie a bit ZDMC drops into the main menu of ZIDOO. Do you know what this could be? Could it be the cable? But now it occurs that if I connect directly from ZIDOO to the projector with the same cable everything works fine. I'm really desperate
Well, hello again All fixed and the problem was not technical but human Unfortunately I didn't notice in the settings in AUDIO that I have to set the output device of the audio pass-through box. That was the whole problem. It's now set up correctly and everything works as it should Good thing I thought I'd take another look at the settings. They almost talked me in the shop that it's a problem of my HDMI cable and I have to buy a better quality one for at least 5000,- CZK (202 EUR). I almost bought it
I have the same wonderfull projector w4000i too and i wonder if the Zioo Z9Xpro could do what i want. Could you tell me if you can access to all picture mode "Cinéma lumineux, Cinéma, Mode cinéaste, Mode cinéaste HDR, HDR10, HDR10+, HLG, ISF Day, IS..." ? I think it means "Light Cinema, Cinema, ..." When i watch a Mkv 4K on a web TV box Android, I can access only on HDR10 and "Mode Cineaste" When i watch a Mkv 1080P or a blu ray on my Samsung bd j5900, iI can access to all picture mode. Do you need to change some setup to access to all picture mode ? Last question : does the Z9X read MKV 4K H.265 and ISO Blu Ray 3D ?
Hello. I'm away from home today but I'll take a picture tomorrow and send it to you. As far as I remember I've been watching mostly online and I'm watching in Filmmaker mode with the WCG filter on because it's an awfully bright projector For me it depends what content you are watching but if I am watching both online and downloaded MKV in SDR 1080p or 2160p so certain I have me the option to switch the picture to Bright/Bright Cinema/Cinema/FILMMAKER MODE/. But as I say tomorrow night when I'm home I'll confirm and send you the screens. I think MKV 4K H265 can play for sure. As for Blu-ray ISO, I don't know, I haven't tested it but they say it should support it. PS: Oh and I especially don't use the TV android box from BENQ that came with the projector. I only use the Zidoo z9x PRO. If I watch through the TV dongle from BENQ I have the option in the main menu of Android TV only HDR 10 or FILMMAKER MODE. What I like about the Zidoo is that if I watch YouTube in the Zidoo player, the projector detects HDR 10 content, which the BENQ TV dongle can't do Use only zidoo. I have installed the TV Dongle from BENQ only because of the iphone mirroring. If Zidoo could do it I would uninstall the TV dongle from BENQ and use only Zidoo . PS2: So far I am very happy with the Zidoo Z9X PRO
Hello, Your first answers confort me to choose the Z9X. If the options to switch the picture to Bright/Bright Cinema/Cinema/ are available, i'll buy it. Can wait your screens
Yeah. I can definitely switch between Bright/Bright Cinema/Cinema/FILMMAKER MODE/ but like I said it depends what content you watch. It's a really good player. It's just a shame I didn't have the money for the more expensive version
