Z9X PRO stopped work with USB external DAC

Ziddo z9x Pro stopped working with external DAC via USB, there is simply no sound coming out. It started happening after update 1.0.60 today in 1.0.65 it still hasn't been fixed.

Could you please help to solve it?

 

have you checked in Settings / Audio / USB Audio toggle on or off

This has to be manally set each time you want to change from say HDMI for tv/movie and then go to USB Audio for DAC

Something weve asked Zidoo to place as switchable via one of the 4 programmable keys on the remote

Sometimes ,with my Topping DAC ,ill have to do a power cord out restart ,i think they sometimes just get out of synch if Starting up for the day ie tv reciever zidoo and External Dac ... even thou usb audio was turned on on Z9X Dac wouldnt u/p sound till i repowered it ...pretty minor since it only happens occassionly

 

Thank you very much, now it works but it is not practical as you said. You need to keep changing the settings and sometimes keep restarting. Please Zidoo administrators to improve this issue for us.
