My Z9X is constantly freezing. I am connected to 2 different NAS. One QNAP the other old Lenovo EMC and the issue happens with both of them. This didn't happen so often but now is too frequently. The Z9X sometimes resets to the first screen. Please help.
This sounds like a network (or cable) issue. Try a USB HDD or Flash drive and see how they play files with direct connection? If you are using WiFi, that is likely source of your issue. If Ethernet, then cables, switches and router could be a possible cause of low bitrate throughput (cause of most freezing).
The actual connection is ethernet but I tried wifi too with the same results. After your suggestion I tried direct connection to the router and found that the culprit was the cable that connected the Zidoo to a room reapeter or hotspot. Thanks!!!!
