Hi, I have just bought Z9X and connect it to an HD projector (Panasonic PT-AE4000). The projector has HD resolution and HDMI 1.4 input (no HDR obviously). I play SDR, HDR10 and DV content and would like HDR to be converted to SDR (and down-scaled to 1080P). For HDR->SDR conversion, I tried to set HDR to Auto but looks like it expands 16-235 to 0-255 for HDR10 content, so it's no go. I now enabled VS10 for all content, but the PQ doesn't look great and looks like lack of saturation, however brightness is always consistent (16-235). I also noticed the following settings, should I keep them default? Color Settings/4K 50~60Hz: Priority YUV420 10BIT Color Settings/4K 23~30Hz: Priority YUV444 10BIT Color Settings/Non-4K: Priority YUV444 10BIT Color Settings/HDMI Range: Auto Color Settings/Deep Color Compatibility: OFF Color Settings/HDMI sign format: Enhanced format HDR to SDR/Gamma: Bright Regarding Color Settings does the settings for 4K takes no effect as I always output 1080P? Anything else I could adjust to improve the PQ for my (legacy) setup? Any suggestion is appreciated!
