Hi, I have a 16tb HDD setup inside the Z10pro. Does anyone know if I can add another 16tb HDD to the external SATA connection and still be able to see both the 16tb HDDs? Is there any limits (for size/capacity) of the 4 USB ports (both the 2.0 & 3.0) connections? Thanks!
SATA will have no issue with another 16Tb drive as the system will see them separately. There have been issues reported with larger 18Tb direct connected drives, if not formatted for a bit under their size limit (see the thread on maximum HDD's). For external USB (and network drives), they simply serve files to the Zidoo and don't rely on Android/Linux O/S and the 16Tb addressing limit that imposes. USB 2.0 is certainly more than fast enough for playing full 4K remuxes, so any port will do .
