Does the X6 Pro recognise a 250Gb FAT32 Western Digital external hard drive? Model WD2500ME-OO

Got over 100 movies plus thousands of pics on it and don't want to reformat it.

Trawled all over Zidoo FAQ's and forum posts and cant find answer.

Tried to mount USB in the X6 Pro settings but to no avail. The pop-up box to open device does appear when I connect to the box but when I click "open" there is nothing visible.

My other box (MX Pro) reads the external hard drive with no problems.

Anyone suggest anything to help out please?

"It support standard FAT32, and the Maximum of standard FAT32 is 128G, your understand will be appreciated"

Yet folks on this forum say they have been able to run 1Tb NTFS external hard drives with no problem.

    Even more confused now.

HaoSs, remember: GPT is a partition table format (like MBR).
FAT32 and NTFS are filesystems format (like a lot of other, i.e. like ext* in *nix/linux.
On the other hand, device recognition of different partition tables is not guaranteed if not directly supported by OS.
Personal opinion: sometimes FAT32 is the only choice for specific uses, like multiboot pendrive...
