x10 - no sound from SPDIF / OPTIC while HDMI connected to TV

    The problem - x10 - no sound from SPDIF / OPTIC (to amplifier) while HDMI connected to TV
    BUT
    if HDMI connected to amplifier and from there to TV - both sound (via amplifier) and video (tv) work

    Could you help on that?

    How do you have each routed?
    HDMI from Box to A/V Receiver, then to TV and
    Optical from Box to A/V Receiver, then to TV, or directly to TV

    Have you checked the Audio settings in the X10?
