Wired or wireless connection?

Usually the wired connection is preferable for stability reason but other brands (e.g.: Auralic) state that a wireless connection can be as good if not better that the wired one because of potential cable interferences pickup. Is there anyone that has been able to check how good is the WiFi connectivity implementation compared to the wired one in the DMP-A6?

I'm not expert in networking, I'm using a Wi-Fi 6 router on 5 Ghz band, in another room with concrete wall about 25 ft away.

I have no issues playing hi-res lossless tracks at all, no drop-outs not even once. I actually have a cable ready but ended up not using it.

Wireless is working perfectly but I can not use evesolo app with an android tablet to control the dmp a6 when using wired network. Is it normal?

Use an Android smartphone WiFi with my DMP-A6 being wired all the time. No problems there. Obviously using the same shared router. they must be on the same subnet.

So is it normal dat the dmp-a6 disconnects itself from wifi when I plug in an internet cable? I still can control the app on my android phone but Roon doesn't work because it doesn't 'see' the dmp-a6 anymore... Everything works fine wireless. Is this normal?
    Thanks for your help!

If it’s connected wired and wireless, it will end up with 2 IP addresses which is probably confusing whatever it trying to connect to it.

Then it looks like the Roon server is on a different net, and Roon has probably cached it...

So that means that when I make a wired connection with my Eversolo I can't use the app (wireless) with my phone??? That's what is happening now...

Of course you can. Do this all the time. But must be on the same subnet. So a shared router/AP.
