what is the different between the External player And internal player ?

Hi , can someone explain to me what is the different between the External player And internal player in ZDMC ?

 

internal is the "dvdplayer" that official kodi uses. external player is the zidoo media center player that zidoo made.

 

is external player look the same of the internal ? I mean the appearance

 

no. they have different interface ( but similar ) some functions in kodi are also not functional with external player ( like bookmark in unfinished movies )

 

I'm a little bit confuse between them , can you show me a picture to both of them ?

In my kodi setting I have marked the external player like this


But when I stream online video I see the native player ?

 

try a local video. not sure stream for addons work with external

 

Yes I think that the external player does not work with streaming from addons

Is there a way to get it work ?

 

i know there is a option on kodi wiki for external player implementation to work with streams, but zidoo has different implementation for there external player ( not using .xml file like in kodi wiki) there is probably a way, but i don't know it.
