My x9s is connected to a 4k TV. Then what is the best resolution I will set in the box, 1080P or 2160, since most time we play 1080 videos. There are many answers around which are not very convincing. I have tried placing the box on auto setting hoping it would detect the resolution itself and switch to the right one. But unfortunately it doesn't work well especially when a 4k video is played.
good point ... auto-switch resolution 1080P -> 2160 for UHD can be a nice function for x9s . about topic if you have a good top level TV maybe it can have better upscaler for 1080P content than 9s.
Yes, the upscaler in the TV is a lot better. So in order to save manual switch from 1080 to 2160, the auto setting in the box should function properly, but it doesn't now.
