What is that 3D option within Zidoo X9S media player?

    Does anyone know how to use the 3D option in the media player? Is it a 2D to 3D converter?

    I tried to play 2D content and enabled the 3D SBS option, the near objects never seem to converge to simulate 3D effect with a true 3D featured TV such as XBR55X930D and 50LA6970, but rather, the near object diverges to a point that is totally unwatchable.

    Is it a 2D to 3D converter? If so, how do I use it? Does it only work on a certain type of 3D TV or model?

    Hi
    the x9s have no 2D to 3D converter function.
    the x9s support 3d format is MVC 3D , right/left 3D, up/bottom 3D.

    Thanks Spring!!

    Both my TVs auto detects MVC 3D and displays in 3D accordingly, 50LA6970 (1080p) converts 2D to 3D also, but the XBR55X930D (4K) does not have that function, will there be a 2D to 3D converter function in future Zidoo boxes? Seems to me that is one way to better the X9S.
