Thx Zidoo Team. I installed this package. I now see all PVR cliënts except the one I need: DVBLink Client. Can you pls post a version with DVBLink PVR Client in it.
This morning I've tried to install some (more or less a tenth) addons directly from Kodi Debug, and ALL installed immediately, even the ones that previously failed by "missing dependencies", this time al missing was downloaded and installed by Kodi directly. Also the Backup addon that grummel2005 needed and wasn't able to install in previous version now installs immediately! Seems a nice step in the right direction (for me...) Little stutter on HD files is still present, of course I've checked if the files was badly encoded playing them on my 6 year old PC, and there plays perfectly... I'll try on X6 with MX Player Pro to see if the problem depends on X6 HW, network or only Zidoo Kodi.
MX Player Pro seems good, if HW+ decoder selected, some stutter with HW decoder, and much stutter with SW decoder. Kodi Debug has very little stutter, less then MX HW, but HW+ seems a (very) little better. In my experience (I've compared a lot), no other Android video player plays video good like MX Player. So Kodi seem very close to it. ... except, of course, for the problems reported by other users, that in my environment I can't reproduce !
Hi @spring . Ps check Add-on:IPTV Simple Client on KODI 15 can't play file IPTV m3u format ( udp://@xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx:1234) only play format (http://xxx.xxx.xxx)... why zidoo x6 with rockchip can't play ? but minix x8 play ok ? pls help me!
I tried this and it updated to kodi 16 beta 4. After that I tried to update video add ons Phoenix and also kids-tube.nl but I couldn't install them... I saw the message not possible to install dependencies.
For me the procedure that (right now) solved the addons dependency problems is a "brand new" installation of Kodi, i.e. uninstalling it and cleaning all relevant data, then install it again, firstly extracting kodi.apk from 1.0.30 OTA update, installing manually it, and then installing the debug version. Then I launched it, and leaved it active fore some minutes, during them it (Kodi) updated some things, some addon and some (missing?) dependencies. After this, all addons I've tried to install , installed straight together with dependencies. N.B. I've not installed any additional repository, I'm not yet interested to.
you do not have to unistall it go to android settings - apps - kodi clear cache first and test it if probmels still exist go to data and clear this then kodi should be fresh as new installed
The best way I guess and I'm doing by myself is Unistall the kodi apk Go root/system/preinstall delete kodi---copy the new kodi (change permission don't forget ) Make factory reset and the new start should be clear Every factory reset the new kodi will start no the old one you need to have root for doing this
Yes, grummel2005, I reported only what I've done and my results. Theoretically yours is the the right procedure. Anyway, please, what is your report about addon install problem? You usually are very quick to report problems (and you are completely right!!!), but not so quick to report solved issue (may I've lost some? This forum is a hurricane of posts!) Anyway I think also good report are useful for Zidoo developers! Thanks in advance!
You mean that on my X6 I'm able to install a lot of addon, included the most important for you, i.e. backup, and you, on your X6 not? If true, do you agree that is very anomalous? Only another thing: for my X6 I always choose the rooted FW versions. Not yet needs to hide root for "pain in the ass" app. And you?
rooted - i have a special account only for zidoo x6 - i am not using my "normal google account" on this because i want to keep my data bymyself not in far east
You confirm my first question? "You mean that on my X6 I'm able to install a lot of addon, included the most important for you, i.e. backup, and you, on your X6 not?"
