    Hello!
I just got Z9X and I can't get Samba to work with SMB2 or SMB3. I have Win 11. I enabled SMB 1.0 from programs & features and it worked but its slow (40Mb/s) and I disabled it, now I have only SMB Direct checked. I also used the Powershell commands to enable SMB 2/3 and it stated "True". Tried firewall off and didn't help. Any ideas?

Also, whenever I tried to download subtitles, it fails. With or without DHCP, tried 8.8.8.8 and 1.1.1.1 for DNS. Wi-Fi, Ethernet it's the same.
    Youtube works though.
    I use stable firmware v6.4.42(G)
    Thanks!

Forget it, was a new problematic router, I swapped it with another and all good!

The default behavior for subtitle is to download to the same folder as the movie/show. Does your SMB account has permission to write to your NAS?

Hi and thanks for your reply.
Samba is fine. A bad router was the cause. It wasn't even giving IPs out of the DHCP pool...
