Hi has anyone been able to login to the their Mac and access files/music using the SMB method from the Eversolo? It doesn’t seem to work for me. Keeps asking for username password and I put in my normal login credentials for my Mac doesnt seem to work.
I’m logging in on a Mac with SMB - root - 123 and I can see all internal A6 files and internal ssd music files reading and deleting files and transferring files
Yes, Im editing, deleting and etc. From main menu, go to Settings, Transfer, Method 2 Settings and just OFF "Enable password" I think that it will help you
It's very strange. It can see my drive and how much storage space is left but it doesn't see my folders and files.
I think it’s some issue of OSX. I’m using Finder but also Path Finder and their behaviour is different. Sometimes there is very big lag and I can’t see folders too. After restart it’s become OK.
Well funnily enough I can see my folders and files if I use my iPad but then I can only browse and delete. I think you are right, I’ve been using an old MacBook, maybe the older OSX isn’t compatible. Thanks
T Try with some Windows. It seems because file system. I’m using also Texera /NTFS for OSX/ and maybe it’s helping somehow.
works for me. Finder -> Network -> DMP_SAMBA -> Connect As ->Connect as a registered user with root as name and 123 as password, select to remember in keychain
Thanks, that is exactly what I am doing but this is what I get. The "Loading…" never gets there. My files are kept in the Music folder but that doesn’t show in Finder. I’m baffled!
