Skype camera support

    I need to use skype on this device (and also on an X1-II). Can you provide a list of web cameras supported in HD (at least 720p) by the included firmware?

    And how could I install new camera drivers, and where to find them?

    Hi dcc,
    Here is a table list of UVC devices. a UVC device should work fine with a android box commonly.
    http://www.ideasonboard.org/uvc/
    You can select a device supported by UVC and which resolution is up t0 720p.

    Thanks, freeroc. Is it guaranteed that the kernel built with your android distribution includes the full uvc support as is in the original Linux kernel?

    I tried a Logitech C270 webcam, which is supported as per the cited table, but skype only worked at 640x480. The camera supports 720p.

    Luckily found the Camera support list. It's very long.
    So I pick out the 720p cameras for you.
    Logitech: C270:3Mp
    C525 :720p
    C920:720p
    Mircosoft:HD3000: 720p
    Dostyle:CA101 :720p
