I need to use skype on this device (and also on an X5). Can you provide a list of web cameras supported in HD (at least 720p) by the included firmware?

And how could I install new camera drivers, and where to find them?

    Thanks.

    Hi:
linux is not the windows, it could not install the drivers by yourself, it must build it with the SDK kernel.
it can support the standar UVC, and we could not test so many cameras, but we test some logitech cameras, and it can work well.

    Hi, thanks for your reply.

I have probably not explained my question well enough. I don't expect installing a driver to be as easy as in Windows. I'm an IT professional, I have no problem tinkering with Linux, kernel modules and configurations, however I am not familiar with the driver availability in Android. If you could point me to resources in this respect it will help.

What Logitech models have you tested? Do they work in HD (at least 1280x720p would be nice}, or will they fall back to VGA or qVGA? I have tried an HP webcam with your product, and it only worked in 320x240 in Skype which was awful.

    Thanks again.
