I just updted to 1.4.12 1) From inside kodi 17.4, create a HDMI in shortcut and start a recording. Stop recording. Error "HDMI in has stopped", and then kodi crashes. 2) Playback any video file within kodi while recording HDMI in, and that files playback is horrible. Stutters, slow and eventually just freezes
Testing a bit more, it appears if you record 1920x1080, this is where most of the problems are. If I record at 720p I am able to view other video files while recording, and cn view the file that is recording (like a timeshift) However, after recording for a while (1 hour plus), the entire screen will turn green when watching another file while also recording. Stop playback (keep recording going), wait for about 10 seconds or so, and the picture will come back. All these problems (green and 1920) will happen if I am using Kodi or not. Record via the HDMI in app, while playing back another video file via the file explorer will have the same stutter/slow/freeze playback issues. Also stopping a recording will always produce the 'HDMI has stopped' error
