It's hard to compare. Compared to a mobile SOC (https://www.xda-developers.com/processor-temperature-results-for-tens-of-socs-how-hot-is-your-chip/) it's little bit high, but the X9S has much more free space in the case than a mobile. Compared to a Raspberry Pi 4 it's ok since a Pi 4 starts to throttle at 80°C and max is 85°C. You've to keep in mind the X9S has no build in fan. As my conclusion I'd say you don't have to worry. I just did a workload test on my Z9S and max I've seen is 75°C.
