I just bought a X9 but I can not understand the remote. I would like some dedicated buttons for play, pause and so on since it is a media player. Are there any more remotes more suitable to use with this media player? /Max
just RTFM, oh wait there's no manual which explains any damn thing about the remote. I just supposed it where standard HDMI CEC commands that works with TVs that does HDMI CEC, the one I connected to the X9 does not so I couldn't verify if it's true, but as I didn't see any way you could teach it what to do I supposed that.
Any mediaplayer has a dedicated mediaplayer software package, either their own (like the Dune HD player) or some custom configured/built software (e.g. Zappiti) The Zidoo player is an Android box with the ability to use Kodi/Archos/MX Player as Mediaplayer. I totally understand the requirement for dedicated buttons (my Dune has them all) but I can also understand the dilemma that Zidoo has. Which button can be used in which Mediaplayer software ...
