Just bought a Topping A70 Pro headphone amp/pre-amp and have connected it up to my my Z8 via XLR. I'm using the Topping as a headphone amp and wondering now what the volume output level should be on the Z8 in order to give the best sound quality on the Topping? Also wondering if it's better to regulate the volume on the Z8 or on the Topping, or maybe this doesn't matter too much? Grateful for any and all advice!
