I have been forced to move from my Zappiti setup and opted to go to a z20. Looking at the posts I see that I am not alone in having trouble connecting my 3 drives to the z20 and being accessed on my pc or for that matter file explorer in my Ipad. I can only see the shared folder. I had SMB1 activated for Zappiti and SMB direct but just to be sure there was no conflict I removed SMB1 I formatted a disc to exfat Checked firmware up to date I can read the PC shared drives from Z20 but nothing beyond the share folder on the z20. I have exhausted all the options I have read up on. What else can I do? Paul
I have had some progress. My existing drives are formatted in ntfs I attached a drive formatted in exfat and thus drive is seen and can be accessed over the network Paul
Install the latest beta firmware stickied at the top of on this forum. It fixes the NTFS problem and a lot more. Updates are rarely provided OTA, they need to be installed manually.
