http://www.cnx-software.com/2016/09...gh-in-realtek-rtd1295-based-zidoo-x9s-tv-box/ I think ZTeam has a very hard work to improve X9S We'll see ....
Look at my Results and my Formats. I don`t have the same Format as cnx, the only things are Bugs Bunny and Samsung UHD Testfiles. I don`t need the Formats from cnx. Read and also is good.
The Review from cnx ist not a Standard. I tested standards Files and standard 4k. which user has such codecs running on this compression. superman vs batman 71 gb Not my Problem, who finds great read it. I show normaly videos in 1080p and 4k with best quality and this files runs smooth on RTD1295 - X9s. And im not pissed, fair must be fair .
OK. Calm down everybody. I've only told that that is a "not very good review", but neither so bad. There is room for improvement, like every single Android Box on the market. If you check on (any) other forum, no one is "free from issues". Even on Q10Pro or Shield TV forum there are plenty of people complaining for issues. I think that Zidoo did a good job with X9S, learning from past. Good hardware, including chassis (and good air ventilation, not like X6). Some good hw improvements (bkcp battery, more adequate expansion ports). But it's still a brand new box with a quite brand new chipset. So, up to now, it's everything, but perfect. My main concern is related to ZTeam workload. Too many new boxes all together (X9S, X8, A5&A5S) and still support (I hope) for "old" boxes , like X6Pro, X1II and X9. This may slow down new firmwares development/bug fixes (for all of them). And we all known that X6Pro still have issues ... As I said, we'll see.
CNX team used some out-SPEC video samples,Consequently the result looks not good. Besides, the samples should obeys the normal distribution,I think.
@freeroc So, in this case, I strongly suggest you to contact cnx team BEFORE they will post the final review
