No Sound

    Today I am the new owner of a Zidoo H6 Pro. Looks nice, very responsive, pretty interface....but I have no sound.

    I've tried pass through, no pass through, hmdi, spidif. Nothing seems to work. The best I was able to achieve was setting the TV to PCM and selecting no pass through. This gave me intermittent spluttering sound.

    Does anyone have any ideas what might be causing this issue? or did I get a dud.

    Check cables and connections, try a different input, reload firmware and software.

    Well I've found a solution by absolute luck. If I put the box into standby and then wake it up the sound starts working.

    Can't say I'm too impressed with this purchase.

    I'd still redo the firmware.

    Updated to latest firmware. Very strange the box needed to be put into standby before the sound worked. Haven't had a sound issue since.

    It probably need a restart after you did the firmware.
