“Add a show/hide setting for music services.” it's a really good thing If you could do the same for the DMP A8 inputs/outputs, we'd gain a lot in ergonomics.
McBluna.net is what you want. To revert to older firmware, the device needs to be in developer mode. There is another thread on this forum which explains that aspect called firmware reversion I think.
As I understand it, the loudness function "intervention threshold" is now a volume sensitive automated function, not manually determined. Not a bug.
Does the Eversolo DMP A8 with fw 1.3.30 play MQA files? I don't prefer MQA but in some cases Roon offers it to me and then I receive message “Unexpected error communicating with Audio device. To many failures. Stopping playback”
Not sure if this is the solution, but… Under the roon settings, you need to go to ‘Audio’ and find the ‘roon ready’ section and your A8. Under ‘device setup’, you need to turn on MQA.
Thx, but I have the switch “on” and some MQAs play and some not. I guess it’s wrong codec or something
