need info about decoders used by zidoo

I saw that avc1 is deoded by awcodec-h264. This made by Zidoo?
Need to check something in kodi to use ZD codec ?

ZDCodec is base on AllWinner cedax decoder, ZDCodec is its name for user, and awcodec is for the developer.

I just checked the code that awcodec-h264 should be for the codec id AV_CODEC_ID_H264.
And codec id came from ffmpeg demux.

 

If I remember correctly, the codec is on by default in Kodi.

in 1.15 playback of h264 streaming files was smooth, now in 1.16 is freezing every 2 seconds. Any plugin 9gag, youtube, vimeo etc.

 

Our test engineer have began this task about youtube playback problem.

 

I installed latest firmware 1080p kernel.
Seems that all codecs are enabled by default in Kodi like in 1.0.15.
Problem is that if if ZDCODEC is enabled, playback is shuttering or freezing every 2 seconds. With ZDCODEC display awcodec-h264.
So, i disabled ZDCODEC and left at hardware acceleration the rest of libstagefright and mediacodecs.. and now i don't have any freezing.
I don't know if ZDCODEC disabled has any impact on system.

So.
ZDCODEC enabled --- awcodec-h264 -- freezing every 1-2 seconds
ZCODEC disabled -- amc-h264 -- no freezing, playback smooth. 1080p24 1080p50 1080p60 720p50 720p50.

I tried streaming from 9gag plugin on kodi ( zidoo repository).

This maybe can be a temporarily fix until zdcodec is fixed.

 

After test,we got the same result.
now we are checking ZDCODE.
