I have a Z2000 pro in version 1.0.95, before I didn't have any problems but for a few weeks now (and even on the old version), when I'm watching a film the picture freezes at a certain point in the film, whereas for other people the film plays fine. I had this problem a while back after updating to 1.0.85, or at least it looks like the same. Specially for high bitrate content with TrueHD/DTS-HD MA sountracks, my problem was with HDD shared over SMB. The solution for me was to kill any process or app that has any kind of read or write in your HDD while playing any movie. Apps like bittorrent clients with lots of active seeding files, metadata managers and the like. I hope this helps.
Unfortunately, I also have this problem, and it even happens to me with the built-in hard disk. Everything has been freshly updated. The hard disk is a NAS WD RED but with 14TB. Is that the problem? When it happens, I clear the caches, which are also more than normally full at over 70%.
