Hi Guys, I need a confirmation from you. What I understood from my tests (I own an HDFury Arcana) and what I read is ... that all these modes use the same engine (VS10). The last LLDV mode needs a display (or something like arcana) to trick the player to go in LLDV mode and use VS10 engine. The other modes that Zidoo proposes in its hdr display configuration page are advanced ways that do not need any display or trick to force Zidoo to use VS10 engine. did I get it right? The core of all those modes is the same Dolby Engine...and the visible result is the same. Right? I ask this because related to my tests (I own a JVC DLA-X5900, Sony VPL-VW550ES projectors) this engine is nota capable to perform a REAL tone mapping. High coded HDR10 titles (like The Meg) and other low coded titles (like Murder on OrientExpress) , after VS10 processing, remains very distant ....and anyway need different HDR10 curves uploaded into the projector. What is your experience about this? Both my projectors don't work with the metadata passed with the signal. So with both projectors I used a single static HDR curve to perform my tests. thank you
