Hi Guys, We all know that to optimally use KODI on ZIDOO X9S is to play via its native ZIDOO player, in order to play 4k HDR movies without lagging and shuttering, but I've noticed quite unpleasant issue, so now video stats which are shown in the info panel are not updated Watched stays always at 0 and Unwatched as well. Also another thing is that it doesn't now remember where you stopped the movie playing so it doesn't hold its last state, which is very uncomfortable, I still couldn't find a way of using KODI player which doesn't have those stats problem, but it lags video significantly I assume simply because it cannot use HW acceleration so it can use inbuilt decoders in the device. Any suggestions? Cheers, Serge.
Yes it would be excellent if the Zidoo native player could communicate times and watched status etc with Kodi - it would make it a far better experience. If the Kodi gui could overlay the native player that would be even better!
