I want to inform reader that Jarvis release (not Beta) is out. Audio HD is now working in PCM output. There is no passthrue but setting sound for 5.1 chanel will output PCM in 5.1 for capable receiver.
Since I have problems with the stock Kodi that came with the box, am I better just updating to the latest stable Kodi?
If 5.1 chanel via pcm doesn't bother you. For me it is good, off courses you will not have DTS showing on your receiver but sound is in 5.1 decode from kodi. But I haven't try addons yet.. working on other projects. You can always go back with zidookodi if not satisfy.
Original kodi is ./system/preinstall/xbmc.zip just rename to xbmc.apk and install. Uninstall zidookodi and install kodi from google store.
