The internal storage is only showing 3.49gb . Isn't Supposed to be 16 gb. Tried a factory reset , still showing just 3.49 gb. Do I have a bad internal memory card?
No, unfortunately, the available internal memory is less than 3.5 GB. In addition, the micro sdcard slot cannot accept cards over than 32 GB. So be carefull, do not record films on this card, use an USB device. Regularly use "Clean" app to remove temporary files and do not install too many apps.
Of course you can do it. I currently use a SSD USB3 drive of 128 Gb ( http://www.emtec-international.com/en-us/speedin-ssd-x510 ) Expensive but with good writing performances. To be connected to USB3 slot. As Zidoo is running Ubuntu OS, you can use any partition you want (avoid obsolete FAT which, in addition, cannot record files over than 4 Gb)).
