If all Dolby Vision FEL rips are read as MEL from these players, do they still work and look good?

In other words, if none of the Zidoo players (or any other player currently on the market) can read the DV FEL layer of 4K rips that have it (which many of mine do) and simply read that layer back as MEL, are those rips still going to fully work and look good on the Zidoo? Has anyone compared an actual FEL 4k disc playing from a 4k disc player (like a UB820 or something) to its same rip on a Zidoo where its FEL layer is being read as MEL? I just want to be sure I don't get deep into ripping my entire collection and transferring everything over etc. only to find out a bunch of them aren't going to play right or look good because of this, ya know?
