Hi all I am using an external keyboard with the zidoo x9s and the keyboard dose not have the Power button , so that force me to use the remote to turn On/off the device , is there a way to do that by using the external keyboard ? at least turn off the device from the system itself ?
Hello spring, I have the minix Neo2 airmouse/keyboard. It works great with the X9S. It can turn the X9S off... Is there a way to also make it turn the X9S on ?
If your remote do not have IR capability no! With RF or Bluetooth remote turn off is possible because the unit is on and system respond to code, but if unit is off there is no way because remote is also off.
The remote has IR for On-Off...and no learning capabilities. As it's possible to decode the remote's code I thought that maybe it's possible to change the X9S 'On' key code to my remote's.
Android do not use any IR code for on/off, IR module is independent of OS it is a simple receiver with a chip enable on/off or sendind code when OS is running.
