Hi, can someone explain how to connect DMP-A6 with AMP-F2 with jack-usb cabble in order to trigger AMP after turning DMP on? I have connected USB AUDIO OUT in DMP to TRIGGER IN in AMP and AMP do not triggers. Is there something to be done in the settings?

The trigger in needs to be a certain voltage. No one uses usb for this

Don't talk nonsense because both of these devices will work

Connect to the top USB socket, the jack cable must be mono

+5v from the USB socket on the DMP-A6 may very well be high enough to trigger the eversolo AMP-F2 but +5v isn't a "standard"* trigger voltage. It might be enough for some amplifiers, but +12v is pretty well much accepted as the "standard"* when it comes to most power amplifiers. It doesn't require much current availability. Normally few mA of current is required. Would +5v work reliably with ALL power amplifiers that use a 12v trigger? Possibly not.

The handbook for the eversolo AMP-F2 has this to say about external 12v triggering:- "TRIGGER IN/OUT jack Inputs/outputs electrical signals are up to 12V DC/150mA. In TRIGGER mode, the front panel power on/off button will be disabled and the on/off will be controlled by Trigger." This implies to me the nominal voltage is 12v, BUT "..... up to 12V DC/150mA." implies to me that a lesser voltage might work, albeit a range is not specified.

    * By "standard" the context is that most power amplifiers that use remote wired triggering where the socket on the amplifier is marked "12v trigger" normally require about +12v to reliably trigger unless otherwise specified. It's always prudent to consult the manufacturer's instruction manual and / or specifications to verify their specific requirements. In practice with any specific piece of equipment it may work perfectly over a range of trigger voltages, perhaps not with every bit of gear.

"The AMP-F2 is equipped with standard 12V TRIGGER IN and TRIGGER OUT functions, allowing it to be synchronised with other devices that support the standard TRIGGER interface for power on and off; using the USB to TRIGGER adaptor cable provided with the AMP-F2, you can connect the USB Type-A interface of the DMP-A6 to the TRIGGER IN of the AMP-F2 to achieve synchronisation."

Connect your power cord to wall outlet. Please note that the voltage is consistent with the local area. Then put the switch to the ON position and turn on the power of the amplifier. AMP-F2 can be turned on/standby through the front panel power on/off button, it can also be turned on/standby automatically by the trigger cable. When the TRIGGER IN jack is connected to a device equipped with a TRIGGER OUT jack, the power on/standby of the unit can be controlled through the linkage operation of the upstream connected device. When the TRIGGER OUT jack is connected to a device equipped with a TRIGGER IN jack, the power on/standby of the downstream connected device can be controlled through the linked operation of this unit. TRIGGER IN/OUT jack Inputs/outputs electrical signals are up to 12V DC/150mA. In TRIGGER mode, the front panel power on/off button will be disabled and the on/off will be controlled by Trigger

the signed Eversolo cable is supplied with the F2
