Hi, I want to play movies from desktop HDD (Win 10/11) to media player (Zidoo X10) using LAN connection. Zidoo X10 has SMB and NFS option. I used to play using SMB option from Win 7 PC previously, now I am unable to do so after upgrading to Win 10/11. Please help me setting up the connection.
This is a little bit of a slow reply. This box uses SMB version 1.0. that's the primary benefit of upgrading to the newer models. However on Windows 10 and 11 you can enable SMB1 in the Windows feature. Go into control panel then to go add remove programs. On the left hand pane there should be an add Windows features button. You might be able to just to search it the search bar as well. Do that then reboot both systems and it should be able to pick it up.
