Since the user dokumentation of the Z9S is minimal compared to other brands I hope that somebody can tell me how to connect to : //nfs:192.168.1768.30/volume1/VOL1/EN-Filme. I can add the NAS in the explorer and can see the /volume1/VOL1 but when I try to open it :no connection to network server. I have given the rights on the NAS exactly as for my older Mede8er player.
    Looking forward to your help!
It is a pity that there is no detailed User Guide for this product!

I have QNAP and no issues
Try to delete the connection for the Z9S and re-enter the credentials

Thank you for your answer, which does not really help. Maybe you can tell me how I can open the user guide under the help apk. It says "all" on the left side but the screen is blank!
Another way could be to give a step by step list how to add an NFS source. ( I do not see anywhere an option to enter credentials) With smb there has been no problem.

    This is pretty intuitive:
    Click "Home Theater 2.0"'
Click "Menu" button on the remote control
    Select "Sources"
    Select "NFS"
Enter your NAS IP address + your public folder
It will prompt you for user/password
make sure you can browse and see your content
    Click Save

In ZDMC it is the same - Movies --> Add Video Source and then NFS.....etc

After that it will remember the path.

Thank you for your help! Following your steps I got the following "screen messages"

Click "Home Theater 2.0"' > OK
Click "Menu" button on the remote control >OK
Select "Sources" > "There are no posters; open sources"> OK>"+add source">OK
Select "NFS" > "NAS IP" +" ZIDOO IP" >"Please select your source folder" >OK Folders are shown eg.: VOL1, in which subfolder are eg.: VOL1/EN-Filme/movie1 folder,movie2 folder etc. > Selecting VOL1 + pressing OK =>UNKNOWN ERROR

Enter your NAS IP address + your public folder >This was never displayed
It will prompt you for user/password >
make sure you can browse and see your content
    Click Save

Thre was no problem with an smb connection to the NAS

perhaps some definition in your NAS?
    I'm not familiar with Synology

My connection was initially done there

I solved the problem! You need to set a parameter "SQUASH" on the Synology NAS to "Add all users to admin" !
Thanks again for your help and merry XMAS and a happy NEW YEAR!

    Hello
I had my contribution to this topic. For ZDMC to access to my Synology, I have to chack the box which "Allows connections from non-privileged ports (ports higher than 1024)"
Hope it might help someone ^_^
