I am able to do this easy with version 13.2 but 14.1 does not appear to make this easy to do . If I connect the flash drive or external harddrive the Zidoo X9 detects it and I can view files from it but when I go to File manager in Kodi it does not give me the location that I can see to add the external flash drive only th sdcard if I select DCIM.
In Kodi, goto add videos (or music, etc) click "Browse" If Kodi does NOT show "External USB", it is somewhat hidden: choose "Rootfilesystem" -> mnt -> usb -> sda1 So files are located at /mnt/usb/sda1.
